It’s not been the best past two weeks for us, having dropped four points from a possible six.

First, a draw against Bayelsa United at home. Then it got worse with a 4–0 loss away to Bendel Insurance last weekend. It was dreadful, but it’s just one of those games, and all we can do is pick ourselves up.

We now find ourselves third on the log, and there’s a need to fight even harder than we have all season in the run-in.

We face Nasarawa United in Lafia this Sunday as we look to bounce back and return to winning ways.

Facing Nasarawa United

The first leg at the Arena in October 2025 ended in a 2–0 win, with Chidera Oparocha and Joseph Arumala finding the net to seal the victory.

When the trip to Lafia came around last season, the game ended goalless. This time, the challenge is to go one better.

We head into this one unbeaten in our last two meetings with Nasarawa United, something that could offer a measure of confidence ahead of Sunday’s contest.

Team News
