We picked a valuable point against Rivers United taking part in the CAF Champuons League on matchday ten of the Nigeria Premier Football League after a goalless draw.

LINE UP: Michael Atata; Junior Christian, Alfred Odinaka, Gift Udoh, Waliu Ojetoye; Dagogo Ibifubara, Tomisin Adebayo, Folarin Temitope, Joseph Arumala, Taiwo Alao & Oparaocha Chidera.

We had the first chance of the game in the opening ten minutes. Chidera Oparaocha was found in the centre of the box by Folarin Temitope, the striker controlled and hit a powerful shot towards goal, palmed away by Osagie in Rivers goal.

It turned out to be a game of little to no chances as we wore each other out till half time without a goal.

The second half resumed with Musa Maliq replacing Folarin. After a quarter of an hour, Goodluck replaced Taiwo Alao as we hung on in tight times.

Michael was called to action in the dying embers, pulling a point-blank save to keep the scores level. The goalkeeper remained commanding in the air as Rivers United resulted to long balls into the box which led to no goals eventually.
