Our unbeaten run fell one short of nine on the last matchday, slipping to a 2–1 defeat against Kano Pillars in Katsina.
It was disappointing not to keep the run alive, but football doesn’t let anyone win forever. The defeat to Kano Pillars on Matchday 14 was one of those inevitable moments. A setback, yes, but nothing that will hold us back.
Up next is a Sunday evening showdown against Abia Warriors, and yes, we’re back home at the Arena 🤩🤩.
Facing Abia Warriors
This fixture last season was the final game of the campaign, MD38, and it turned into a five-goal thriller, which we won 3–2.
Goals from Ayomide Cole, Tosin Oyedokun, and Musa Maliq gave us the win as we rounded off a great season, finishing on a high.
This time again, we’re ready to deliver another entertaining affair, this time with a more commanding win and total dominance throughout the game.
We’re currently the second-best team at home this season in terms of points, and we’ll be looking to continue our winning run and light up the Arena, as always.
