With the game taken away from Jos, our matchday 33 encounter saw us take the trip to Lafia to face Plateau United in a very important clash.

LINE-UP: Michael Atata; Daniel Idoko, Aliu Salawudeen, Ununwa Elijah, Olanrewaju Molade; Rasheed Owolabi, Dennis Mse, Tosin Oyedokun, Farouk Salami, Joseph Arumala, Abayomi Ayodeji.

It was a tight first half as both teams were playing away from home due to the shift from Jos to Lafia. The home side wasted no chance as Michael was forced into a save after just three minutes.

The rest of the first half saw Arumala try to outsmart the goalkeeper but was denied and Aliu Salawudeen forced off to injury and replaced by Emmanuel Matthais.

The second half was a different story with the home side running riot gradually. They broke the deadlock five minutes after the break and added a second later.

Moses Ali came on to halve the deficit and lead the charge for a comeback which didn’t materialize as Plateau United added two more in the last minutes of the game.
